Hola! After a wonderful month-and-a-half-longish hiatus spent graduating from IU, soaking in the Spanish sun, tasting piri-piri chicken and port wine in Portugal and journeying back home to Ohio, I’m back to the blog! Unfortunately while abroad I was also delivered the news that my impending job in Chicago, to be started come July, had been rescinded due to the economy and the financial “non-health” of the company. A brief damper was put on my mood until I realized that it was out of my control…what was in my control was coming back refreshed and optimistic, making the best out of my time at home and beginning a new search for employment with no restrictions on location or job description.
I can’t stop listening to Delorean right now! They’re a band from the Basque region of Spain. I thought it fitting to bring their newest album, Subiza, along with me on my trip for obvious reasons. In reality, it didn’t get transferred to my ipod so I didn’t even listen to the album until I arrived home a week ago. I’m definitely making up for lost time…Here’s #2, “Real Love,” and it’s hypnotizing.
